And the thief on the cross, what?
An example: I accuse someone of being a thief without being one, but another defends him and says that he is not. Which of the two practiced justice, that is, who kept the Law?
Keeping the Law is not not not taking something that belongs to another, but rather not having the intention of taking it; or it is not not not killing, but rather not having the intention of seeing someone dead, since wanting to see someone dead is the same as killing them.
Judas had not betrayed Jesus when the Lord had already declared him a devil. In his heart, he had already given Jesus—had already broken the law, which was completed in the physical delivery ( JOHN 6:70).
But isn't salvation by grace? In other words, isn't salvation out of love? ““The fulfillment of the Law is love.” (ROM. 13:10). Christ on the cross fulfilled all the requirements of the Law, out of Love.
The Salvation “it is by grace so that no one can boast” (EFS. 2:9). Very simple! Salvation is through love so that no one can boast, since love never seeks any glory (1 COR. 13).
Only he who practices justice—that is, he who keeps the Law—enters the promised land (DEUT. 16:20); Everyone who resists temptation, does not sin, or keeps the Law will receive the crown of Life. (James 1:12); everyone who is faithful is only faithful by obeying or keeping the law (REV. 2:10), will receive the crown of eternal life or eternal salvation; Everyone who keeps the Law will eat of the tree of life to eternal life, and will enter the gates of the eternal city. (REV. 22:14)
Everyone God loves—and he who loves God, you will achieve salvation. There is no type of true love that is not based on the Law or a law. If God's Law does not save, neither will God. His law is a transcript of his character. The Law of God is God himself.
There is no such thing as a person being something and his character being something else. The person is the person, and his character is the same as him.
We are what we teach our children. We are the values we transmit. The legislator is known by the laws he creates, because his laws are what he is. Doesn't the Bible say that he who does not love (“the fulfillment of the Law is Love”, ROM. 13:10) You have not known God, because God is Love? (1 JOHN 4:8). That is, he who does not keep the Law, since keeping the Law is loving, has not known God, because God is the same as his Law. John—who knew Jesus better than anyone on this earth, expounded him in this way. manner:
3 AND in this we know that we have known him, IF WE KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS .
4 He who says, I have known him, and does not keep his commandments, THIS ONE IS A LIAR, AND THERE IS NO TRUTH IN IT;
5 But whoever keeps his word, the charity of God is truly perfect in him: by this we know that we are in him.
6 He who says that he is in him, must walk as he walked. —1 JOHN 2:3-6
The two natures he speaks of are represented on the cross. GALATIANS 5:19-22: the carnal (disobedience to the Law) and the spiritual (obedience to it). Many believe—because they don't study, of course—that the fruits of the Spirit refers to the Holy Spirit. No! There, in contrast to the flesh or disobedience, also sin, he speaks of the nature obedient to the Law of God, and ends by saying:
About these things, there is no Law. Why is there no Law about the fruits of the Spirit? Because such fruits are the Law of God, and above the Law of God, which is God himself, there is no Law.
Salvation, according to God himself, is obtained only under strict obedience to the Law of God.
