Salvation By Works, Vol. 4—Faith and Law

⁹ Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing; but the observance of the commandments of God. —1 CORINTHIANS 7:19

 One moment! Either Paul is contradicting himself, or he is being contradicted, or the brain feeding is not being sufficient to understand some simple truths.

Was it not Paul himself who said: “Jesus Christ is the end of the Law for justice to all who believe“?

I understand now! The word end not only means end, but also purpose and motive.

Is the end of the Law for righteousness (application of the Law as it is written) to everyone who believes? Is it justice or injustice to remove the laws that protect a citizen in society?

MEANING:
Jesus Christ is the purpose or motive of the Law (of God) because he applied it in his own life fulfilling (justice) the requirement of the one who violates it—death, so that the sacrifice of everyone who keeps it will not be in vain ( work/create).

ELSE:
He kept the Law and died so that everyone who accepted the Savior and kept the Law would not die.

The Law has two purposes, life for those who keep it and death for those who violate it. (Genesis 2:17)

Christ was obedient to God all his life. And there is no obedience that is not based on laws or rules, but for me he had to fulfill (justice) the double motive of the Law, which includes death, but only for those who do not keep it (believe it)...

¹⁰ If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love; JUST AS I HAVE KEPT MY FATHER'S COMMANDMENTS, and remain in his love. —JOHN 15:10

God said to Noah, make yourself an ark because I have found you righteous. (GEN. 6:1-15; 7:1). God found that Noah kept (works) his Law (was righteous); Noah had to make (works) the Ark; then by faith (believed) and entered (works) into it, and he and his family were saved from destruction.

In Noah it is perfectly fulfilled that "The fair"—he who keeps the Law, “by faith he will live.” (Habakkuk 2:4); (Romans 1:17); (Galatians 3:11). His life also shows that it is impossible to separate faith from works (James 2:18), since faith in itself is a work, and works according to the Law of God are all of faith.

Believing in God (faith) and keeping (works) his Law is what many call Justification by Faith.

²⁴ Enoch walked with God, and disappeared because God took him. —GENESIS 5:22-24.

Why did it take him to heaven? Because he walked (works in which faith is included) with God.

To keep the Law without faith is to presume to keep it—not to keep it. Just as Noah entered the Ark and saved himself and his family, so everyone who wants to be saved must be found right before God.…
